The national symbols of each ten member ASEAN nations (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) depict how we care, protect and prosper not only as a nation but as a region that belongs to the global humanity. The ASEAN national animals were engraved on the Prosperity Vase blooming into ASEAN national flowers festooned with leaves of each national currency; inside the vase's rim floats the Vietnamese lotus with heart shaped rose petals ( CARE) . Purity withstands the world's filth to allow holistic growth. Lastly, each of the ASEAN national historical fabric or Traditional fabrics are embossed ten national birds. Our socio-biodiversity- Flora, Fauna, peoples and our indigenous looms bind the very tapestry of our distinct historical thread yet weaving us into one: common love for freedom , ethos and principles,: nationhood, longevity, purity, sincerity, courage, resilience, environmental protection and conservation vital to Sustainable development.
