PNoy on Sabah Crisis: Asymmetric Memory that Needs Priming from Historical Symmetries

When it comes to "historical symmetries", I am beginning to suspect that PNoy is suffering from "asymmetric memory" rather than think that he is a bigot. Re: his posturing "Ang mali ay mali..."

Exploring the realm of curing "amnesia" through "priming" and a follow up dosage of perceptual, semantic, or conceptual stimulus repetition. Here are some memory hangers for President P-Noy:

1. Ninoy Aquino's absolute compassion that did not exclude Muslims in the Philippines.
PROOF: In 1968, it was Noynoy's Dad-Sen. Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. who had exposed the legendary “Jabidah massacre”, and who demanded justice for Muslim military trainees who were slain in Corregidor. Their mass murder in effect vindicated them from being involved in OPERATION MERDEKA operated by Marcos during his regime.

AS A TIPPING POINT: it enraged the Moros and non-Moros alike; thus, the MNLF was founded by UP Prof. Nur P. Misuari.

2. 1986 EDSA PEOPLE POWER: How the Icon of Democracy in Asia, P-Noy's Mom- Corazon Cojuanco-Aquino used her wisdom and blanket clemency to forgive the very Filipinos who were amongst the conspirators and perpetrators of injustices who perpetuated the Marcos oppressive regime for 20 long years; and consequently, her utmost mercy enthroned some of them in the Congress, Senate and in even in the Presidency. 

PROOF: Cory did not employed vindictively the "Ang mali ay mali doctrine!" and convicted all of them for their 20-years krimen o pagkakamali, did she? Cory actually used these "former perpetrators-turned-plotters" as crucial LINCHPINS to hold the fragile fabric of democracy sown and reaped by the EDSA PEACEFUL REVOLUTION.

AS A TIPPING POINT: Coup d'etat (which Marcos labeled as "stupidity": "Stop this stupidity!") by Enrile along with the Reform the Armed Forces Movement and later joined by PC Chief/AFP Vice Chief of Staff Lt. Gen FVR who both sought the aid of Cardinal Sin who mobilized people to embark on the legendary EDSA PEOPLE POWER REVOLUTION with the crucial support of its UMBILICAL CORD: The Radio Veritas.

I exhort the President and everyone not to overlook historical symmetries so as not to rouse up public outrage-- the SABAH STANDOFF is a potential tipping point towards peace or otherwise. Wallaahu ah'lam

Thus, I reiterate: Hmmm...if Malaysia and our President are both suffering from AMNESIA then it is just as well that the 235 Tausugs re SABAH STANDOFF exposure in effect subjected both of them to "PRIMING!"
